April 19 - 20, 2008
Members of the 3rd and 6th US Colored
Infantry Re-enactors traveled to Baltimore, MD to take part in a Civil War
Weekend. Several units of Infantry and artillery, took part reenacting
activities that were typical of what went on at the fort during the Civil
War. The 3rd and 6th U.S.C.I., acted as guards for civilians who were
suspected pro-southerner sympathizers and captured Confederate soldiers who were
held there prior to being shipped to prison camps located at Point Lookout and
Ft. Delaware
