STATEMENT OF MISSION
WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE 3rd
REGIMENT INFANTRY, UNITED STATES
COLORED TROOPS, ARE A NON PROFIT, 501c3,
CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION.
WE ARE HERE TO EDUCATE THE MASSES IN THE HISTORY
AND SERVICE
OF THE UNITED STATES COLORED TROOPS. WE PROVIDE SERVICES
TO
YOUTH IN SCOUTING, SUPPORT SENIOR CITIZENS AND THE NEEDY. WE
SUPPORT
THE CREATION OF A UNITED STATES COLORED TROOPS MEMORIAL
MONUMENT AND IT'S
MAINTENANCE. WE PARTICIPATE IN LIVING HISTORY
PRESENTATIONS AND BATTLE
REENACTMENTS.
We hope that you will visit
with us often. Our events page will let you know where
and when we will be
performing living history presentations and battle reenactments.
Many of our events are open
to the public and we hope that you might come out and
meet us in person.
We are currently recruiting new members for both the 3rd U.S.C.T.
and our
Women's Auxiliary. We invite you to join our ranks and help us to tell the
story of the United States Colored Troops and their history of gallant service.
